Gabrielle Maurer (Montréal, Canada) is a photographer, curator, and creative thinker. Trained first as a violinist and later as a lawyer, she now devotes her artistic practice to documenting emotional landscapes across weddings and family life.

Her work is rooted in presence, care, and extraordinary attention. It embraces the quiet act of witnessing, exploring the emotional textures that shape how moments are felt, remembered, and carried forward. Working primarily with analog processes and printed mediums, she is drawn to the sense of intimacy and belonging they invite.

She splits her time between long-form projects, documenting wedding celebrations across the globe (see her work here), and home, that she calls Montreal and Gaspésie, where she works with families, couples, and communities to craft small love letters to different seasons of life.

Alongside her photographic practice, Gabrielle collaborates as a trusted creative partner and mentor to artists and organizations striving to create meaningful work. Though distinct, both practices are guided by the same belief: that careful attention can transform the way we understand ourselves, one another, and the conversations we invite.
