we want to remember this day as joyous, filled with love and surrounded by all those most important to us

Imani & Nicholas

  • Imani and Nicholas had moved to Vancouver about a year before we met, and they’d fully fallen for it — the mountains, the water, the slower mornings, the way weekends just casually turn into camping trips.

They wanted their wedding to feel the same — simple, curious, outdoorsy, and full of joy. It was such a pleasure to fly in from Montréal and meet our Canadian West Coast for the very first time. As soon as I landed, I understood exactly why they never looked back. Still dreaming about doing the same… maybe someday?

Back in the Harrison Valley — what a gorgeous day by the bluest of rivers. Warm and bright, tall cedars above our heads, soft grass under our feet, and flowers and laughter drifting everywhere. Everything moved at its own pace. No rush, no fuss. Just a good day, lived well and fully.

Photographed on 35mm and digital, this memory box follows that same mood — candid, sun-soaked, and full of those quick little moments that stay with you long after we hugged goodbye… for now.
