Weddings are the bulk of my work and where I pour it all.
Couples and their loved ones become friends. We laugh, we cry, we hug, we cheers. From the day we jump in, I come in as one of your own. We spend months dreaming together and slowly building something meaningful that will follow us through the big weekend and beyond. My work technically ends with an Art Book finding a place into your home, though I hope it continues in some tangible, unpredictable way. Maybe valuing presence, honesty and craft is the key to create memories which will, in due time, continue this legacy. A beautiful circle of life.
My documentary work is deeply personal and I perfect my art in every way that I can. You may find me making friends & collaborating with like-minded artists around the globe, getting lost at the bookstore, or hunting down vintage glass to add to the collection. My work has been featured in The New York Times and on Rangefinder, and I recently had the honour to be invited by my peers over at Gather Around Film to present an Artist Talk on the subject of empathy. We shared on how to meet people behind all their onion layers and why this work matters so much to me and us as human beings. This will always be the goal.
Planned wedding travel for 2025 include Vancouver (May), Spain (July), Ireland (August), and Toronto (September). July and August are still flexible to book wedding work in Europe at discounted travel costs.
